Red has the longest wavelength and violent has the shortest wavelength. Wavelengths increases in the order : VIBGYOR

V to R, VIBGYOR revefers the seven colors of rainbow : violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red.

Ultraviolet rays has shorter wavelength than visible light but larger wavelength than x rays.
