NIT Trichy has the biggest fests. Ever since its inception in 1975, Festember has shown an exponential growth and has all the hallmarks of an astounding fest.

NIT fest is the annual inter-departmental cultural extravaganza of the National Institute of Technology, Trichy . Founded in 1993 as a dance competition, it has now grown to encompass 75+ events, with active participation from the 6000-strong student community on campus.
