Solution : Each state commission consists of one President and at least two other members one of whom should be a woman. They are all appointed by the concerned state government. A consumer can make a complaint to the state commission when value of goods or services and compensation claimed exceeds rs 20 lakhs but does not exceed rs 1 crore.
