Hello Vasanth. Both ECE branch and ME branch are of equal scope and equal importance. It all boils down to your interest.
If you are interested in fields related to communications, ECE is for you. If you are interested in fields related to machines, then ME is for you. Both fields have good job opportunity, provided if you are good at it.
