If it is quality of education and stuff, Thapar is better than Pesu. Thapar has 60 year old legacy and is ranked in the finest institutions of country.
It's totally a wholesome experience. Thapar is all about all around development and still has a decent academic result.
If you want CS and live in somewhere near bengaluru only then go for Pesu.
Again being in IT capital pesu has an upper hand in terms of locations and the benefits it carries with it.
The no. Of TIER 1 and TIER 2 companies visiting Pesu  has increased in the recent years and hence the average packages of students.
