Both the fields are really good and are required by army generals and teams as well of course. But if you had to choose one, then as per the future requirement and in demand source, Information Technology tops it since its a software based stream, it can be learnt and used to input various information which investigators use.. Lots of subjects like Ethical Hacking are also taught in the syllabus.
