Let me tell you some details about the optional subjects and about the optional paper you have to give in the Bihar Public Service Commission exam .

This paper will be of 300 marks and it will have a time limit of 3 hours. There are 34 Optional subjects in the Main exam.

The syllabus of the Optional Paper will be same as that of the Three- Year Honors Paper of the respective subject of Patna University . Here is the list of the Optional Subjects go through this list and choose the subject in you you are having strong grip :

**Note: Any subject can be scoring if you have a strong command on it, and making a subject scoring or not only depends on how you are approaching towards the questions and what kind of mindset you are having while giving the exam.
