Really there's no link between Coding and Mathematics and you can only able to find a piece of code in the program but there are Small Calculations in a loop 

for example : (n=0;n<2;n++)

Here you just have to know addition 

Conclusion: Yeah you have to know Some addition, Subtractions, etc. That's it.
