If you are a Cardiovascular Technologist , you can assist the physicians in cardiac invasive tests whereas if you are a Perfusion Technologist, you can assist surgeons in heart-lung surgeries.

A Cardiovascular Technologist earns a salary of around 2 lacs to 14 lacs per annum whereas a perfusion technologist earn 3 lacs to 16 lacs per year approximately.

I think both the posts are almost equal as in both a person is assisting either a physician or a surgeon but as of salary, perfusion technologist post is better.
