15% All India Quota seats are available in the Government Medical Colleges only. In Government medical colleges 15 % seats are reserved for candidates from All Over India and 85% seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the state where the college is located. For state quota seats, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as required by the state.

Candidates can apply for admission to the private medical colleges of other state also. For management/private seats in private medical colleges, domicile is not required. Only Maharashtra state doesnot allow admission to other state candidates.
