Hi Kartik,

DRDO or Defense Research & Development Organization works under the department of Defense Research and Development of Ministry of Defense. For getting into DRDO they conduct a scientist entry test (SET) every year. Qualification required for giving this test is that the candidate should have a first class bachelor degree with 60% marks minimum in engineering, electronics, technology, computer science, mechanical, communication. The age limit for giving the SET exam is 28 years.

There are also some other ways through which you can work with DRDO mentioned below:

1. You can apply for the summer internship if you are currently studying.

2. You can have a collaborative project as a student with DRDO in a reputed institute.

3. If you are in IITs and NITs then you can join DRDO through campus interview.

4. You can become a scientist through GATE exam.
