1.Science

The thing with science is after 12th you will get access to larger opportunities as you can further choose to delve into any field of your choice. I suggest if by the end of your 10th board exams you still don't feel sure about a particular career, you can go with science as what they have in plate for +2 is also good things to learn about.

Subject- Physics , Chemistry, Biology, Maths.

2.Commerce

Commerce would be helpful for you in case you want to understand business, economy, accounting, finances, banking, etc. A background in commerce helps better if in future you decide to start a business of yours. Does that mean if you are not from a commerce background you won't be able to start your business? no. Just some prior knowledge helps you better.

Subjects- Business Studies, Accountancy, Economics.

3.Humanities

Humanities is extremely helpful for you when you are totally sure you want to see your career somewhere in this field. Getting the knowledge of subjects you have in arts give you a strong grasp beforehand and let you stand ahead of people in your graduation degree. Arts as a stream is completely okay if you see your future in a field which has to deal with your good knowledge in social sciences.

Subjects- History, Political Science, Geography, Psychology, Sociology , Economics etc.

After completing 10th there are mainly three stream you can choose. Science, commerce and arts/humanities. Science is a popular stream it has best career options like engineering, doctor, astronaut.

Commerce is also a best stream to choose if you have interest in mathematics, business and economy. You can have best career options like CA, CS, CFA.

And coming to the arts/humanities is traditionally least preferred you have to know that govt jobs like IAS,IPS and many other competitive exams can be done very easily if you opt arts stream. Theajor career options would be teaching, law, journalism. So, you should choose according to your interests. Decision making is a major sought for all.
