Hello aspiration! I hope you are doing good.


According to me, you can take the following subjects , if you willing to prepare CLAT exam:-

  • Economics (important)
  • Political science(important)
  • History
  • English(important)
  • Legal studies

And Yes for General category, 45%marks should be scored in 12th class .

For obc/sc/St 40 % marks intheir 12th class .

Nidhi Mishra Yes, legal studies is a good optional subject which will help you in your college also . There you will go through detailed study about legal studies . It is a good subject for you are a law aspirant.

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for CLAT for undergraduate programme is that Candidates who have passed their Senior Secondary School Examination/ 12th Board Examination can apply. A minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying degree is required to appear in CLAT 2020. SC and ST candidates need only 40% marks. So you can take any subject to write CALT. As an aspirant of COMMON LAW ADMISSION TEST,

to do law in future,it's better to have arts or commerce along with or without mathematics .

as the syllabus for clat is

  • English including Comprehension.
  • General Knowledge and current Affairs.
  • Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)
  • Legal Aptitude.
  • Logical Reasoning.
