For first year you can buy books 2nd hand since engineering books are costly or you can ask your seniors from books.

Every college has different syllabus but for maths and some electrical subjects remain the same.

You can buy BS Grewal for Mathematics which will help you till the second year, for other subjects I may advise you to check your subjects there are refrence books written below the subjects.
