The world's most consulted university rankings portfolio, the QS World University Rankings 2023, were issued by QS Quacquarelli Symonds, a worldwide higher education think tank. For the eleventh year in a row, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) is ranked as the best institution in the world.

The Indian Institute of Bombay (IITB), which is ranked 152nd globally among universities, is the top institution in India.
