There isn't an abundance of institutes in India that offer a Psy.D degree. There are some that do, though.

The basic eligibility criteria to apply for a Psy.D program is that a candidate must have done their Masters in Clinical Psychology from a recognised university. Depending on the Institute, there are other eligibility criteria as well exclusive to that institute.

Some of these institutions that offer Pay.D include

• Amity University, Noida
• Sweekar Institute, Hyderabad

Both of these institutions are recognised by the RCI or Rehabilitation Council of India. There are many colleges that offer an M.Phil (Clinical Psychology) or a PhD (Clinical Psychology) but the number of Universities offering Psy.D is pretty limited.
