Hello Smit,

To become a Ship Captain is a long and continuous process of Training, Courses, Exams and promotion. After completing class 12th you can go for BSc Nautical Science or Diploma in Nautical Science.

After completing the course, You may start work as training cadet. After 18 months of sea service and 2nd Mate's exam, You may become second officer after this Chief officer then with the time of exeperience you become a captain.
