Aristotle was the one who said that Political science is the master science. He is regarded as the father of Political Science because of his far reaching and permanent contribution to the field of politics.

He called politics as the master science because according to him, all branches of human activity depend on it. It is an understanding of our own society and the world around us. It determines the environment within which every person will organize his life.

I think you are confused or misunderstood some concepts. Political Science is a stream which can be pursued by Under Graduate course like BSc. If any student after graduation from Political Science stream wants to do Post Graduation then they can go for Master's Degree. Master of Science or MSc. is a post graduation program.

Both are different. Msc is a level after graduation while politial science is a stream. For example, in engineering it is Btech and Mtech in different streams of engineering. It is not limited to one stream.

In the same way when there is BSc in political Science , there is masters degree of it which is MSc or Masters' of Science
