I guess you are asking about the new reservation category introduced by the government, the EWS category. EWS stands for Economically backward section. It considers all those families whose incomes are less than a minimum prescribed limit. The candidates coming from the families have been provided 10% reservation in all the government sectors, and only these candidates can take up these seats.
