Generally in an income certificate , it is mentioned that your annual income is less (as per the criterion set )and can get the fees exemption. So, in general, you need to mention the source of income and amount of income received annually  by your family. It can be anyone who is working in your family currently, your mother or father or both. You can prepare the certificate accordingly.
