It is a trend in India to become a engineer or doctor. Choosing a course should be depend on a student only according to his/her interest. If you have interest in doing engineering then you can choose it otherwise you can choose the course according to your interest.

 

Scope of Engineering

Any engineering course has lot of scope. Every branch offers good employment opportunity. Engineering is a design-oriented subject
As an engineer you will rank amongst the highest paid professions in the world, even as a graduate. Not many careers offer this sort of opportunity to gain experience and explore new cultures and lifestyles. Engineers working in multinational companies will often travel overseas for conferences and to visit or inspect company facilities, adding variety to their daily routines.
