TO START WITH: The books by H.C.Verma are perfect for any student aspiring to crack JEE to especially build a conceptual base. For assurance, it can be easily said that no other book is required for the same. It is strictly advised that only when you are done with Concepts of Physics by H.C.Verma, should you move ahead to refer other books IS THE BOOK SOLELY SUFFICIENT? Again, no. While I have advised you to begin your journey with H.C.Verma, it is not advised to be content with it. Although the H.C.Verma book brings a truckload of numericals with itself, from JEE point of view, it is not sufficient. The MCQs, on the other hand, are very well designed to tackle specific loopholes students have in the concepts they build after going through the chapter. IS THE BOOK ACTUALLY DESIGNED FOR JEE? Dr. H.C.Verma wrote this book only for Indian students to get a better grasp of the subject and take interest in it and that purpose was served. While the book was not written to crack JEE, the aspiring students have been using this book for the past two decades. But when you go through previous years' question papers, you will find that the question pattern is altogether different

The way in which the concepts(theory) are explained is remarkable in this book. It is considered one of the best books for the preparation of JEE or any other engineering examination. The book has so many solved examples which are very useful.
