Dear Kamal ,

Not only Uttarakhand People prefer engineering course ,In india more then 5lakhs aspirants graduate from engineering then you can imagine that .First of all engineering is an technology and skill orientated course where more then 1 lakhs jobs are offered in every year so first point is for prefer engineering is JOB . After engineering course you not only able to understand the technology oriented skills ,during this course you gain also lots of transferable skills like communication, management ,entrepreneur, design ,etc.. and it is also depends upon their interest. So mostly as per my prospective this is real aspects for chooses engineering  .

Thanks
