Since red balls may not be visible under floodlights because they take on a brownish hue that could blend in with the colour of the field, white balls were used for ODIs, T20s, and T20 Internationals. The white balls also had more ball paint, or lacquer. The bowl moves more quickly, increasing the possibility of more goals being scored. As a result, it increases the fun and excitement of the game.
