Hi Aspirant

Gandhiji launched civil disobedience movement because Lord Irwin did not paid attention to the demands of Gandhiji which also includes the ending of salt tax in India.

Gandhiji started Salt March from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi on 6th April where is manufactured salt and broke the salt law.

Gandhiji walk for many days and many people join him in his protest and they all broke the salt law.

All the foreign goods their goods were boycotted.

Civil Disobedience Movement was the movement where people did not just refused to co-operate with British but also broke the laws.

There were 11 demands asked by Gandhiji to Lord Irwin and these were not fulfilled by Lord Irwin and for this he started Civil Disobedience Movement.

I hope you got your answer.
