so i faced the same problem and didn't know what to do for 2 days !! ... the problem is that the jee registration portal is kinda dumb ... it says it accepts jpeg as well as jpg but it doesn't. good thing is solution is easy ... take the file you are gonna upload ( i hope it is within the size limits and all requirements ) and rename it as "...... . jpg" if it is " ....... .jpeg" . Problem Solved !

See the photograph to be uploaded in the JEE-Main 2022 application form should be the recent photograph. either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background and size should be in between 10-200 kb in jpg/jpeg format.

If you are uploading photograph as per the above criteria then there might be some technical issue or network issue, so what you should do is just log-out and close the browser and then re-open it and log-in again, then try to upload your photograph. It would take then.

Application process for JEE-Main 2022 :-

>>>>> First of all you have to visit the application window of JEE-Main 2022 for which link is given above and then generate your application number and password.

>>>>> There you will have to fill the application form with correct and valid details.

• The size of the scanned signature should be between 4 kb to 30 kb (clearly legible)
• The size of the scanned copy of the Category certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS etc.) should be in pdf between 50kb to 300kb (clearly legible).
• The size of the scanned copy of the PwD certificate should be in pdf between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible).
