Hello Sohail,

The minority system was introduced long ago by well priviliged people and they had some motive for introducing minority quotas.

At first therr was minority quota for caste system only like for sc,st,obc, etc

This was introduced because earlier people from these castes did not got equal chance in any of the field like education, sports, jobs, etc.

So this minority quota was introduced in order to make balance and equality between all the religions.

By following this, various colleges also started providing minority  quota based on religion.

Their motive is to promote and help people of their religion first and then other.

People also misuse these policies.

But there is no point on debating or fighting on this topic as these are never ending topic and this minority quota thing wont come to an end for atleast 40 years from now..

Hope this may help you.
