Why should we fill any forms before appearing for NEET or JEE main exams

Dear aspirant,

You will have to fill the application form for NEET and JEE Mains examination before appearing for them. You can find the application forms for NEET and JEE  in the NTA website and can fill it. After completing the procedure you'll be able to get a downloadable copy of the application form. You need you your marksheets and other documents' copy to complete the application process

The reason they ask you to fill the form is to ensure that you are eligible to write the exam and to keep track of the candidates appearing for the exam.
