Hello Aspirant,

SNQ quota is a reservation category in Karnataka Common Entrance Test KCET.

See SNQ quota or Supernatary quota students I.e., who fulfil the eligibility norm of the quota claim seat under this quota and their tuition fee is waived. This quota is only applicable during the admission process.

SNQ or Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) are for the aspirants whose financial condition is not favourable. This quota enables learners from the financially vulnerable categories of the community to achieve entry to engineering colleges in the state with fewer tuition fees. If the prospect's earnings are less than INR 6.0 LPA then they are desirable for the SNQ quota. The seats are allowed under this quota solely established on merit and ranks. The prospects have to deliver an income certificate handed out by a Jurisdictional Tahasildar or the Block Education Officer and introduce it at the document validation phase of the examination.

Regards.
