the calculation of percentile will basically depends on the how hard is the question paper.If the question paper  is very tough then u can even get 90 percentile also.

now coming to your another question about recognition.for suppose though u didnt get an iit or nit or iiit also u have a chance of getting a seat in some of the deemed universities with your jee mains percentile. there are many universities they check your mains score one such university is Sastra university,shivanadar e.t.c.

Yes definitely by scoring 85 marks you will get a percentile above 75.
Your percentile will be between 91.5 - 92.5
Hence its quite recognisable to get you admission in the private Collegees as well as other state level colleges.However if you belong to sc /st category then there is a slight chance for your admission in lower nits as well.
I will also suggest you to prepare and appear fir April jee mains as well.
