As we go through the latest cut-off of JEE-Main 2020 of JOSAA 6th round then it shows if the candidates is having his/her rank under 1000 can some average NITs for Architecture but if you want top NITs like NIT Trichy then you should aim for under 600 as last year the closing rank for NIT Trichy was 615 for Architecture branch in NIT Trichy under Home state quota for Open category or General category. Now to secure such rank you should have your JEE-Main 2021 score at least 350-360 marks out of 400. So with just 250 it would be quite difficult to get into any NIT especially with General category.

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
