Well, we don't exactly know about the EWS reservation for now but considering only General category ranks from the previous years then with 26542 rank it would not be possible for you to get Mechanical Engineering in NITK because, for the year 2018, the branch closed off at 14545 for the Home State Quota and 7178 for the outside state Quota.
So, Unfortunately, You won't be able to make it.
