Yes it's ofcourse a good course and has a good scope in future.You have to learn programming language before learning about android app development.You need to build logic to apply for developing apps.
And as far as the college is concerned i don't think it's a best college.You should look for other good colleges like VIT,SRM,BITS and many more as their academics and placements are too good.

hai sri charan ,i was also from andhrapradesh many of my friends studying there ,i dont say it was best or poor college because when compared to regional colleges over ramjumandry and kakinada it was good (average) but when comes to vishakaptnam there were many other collegs better than that like ANITS,GAYATRI,GITMS,VIGNAN in viziyanagram and srikakulam MVGR and GMRIT are best try to opt this colleges for better placements
