If you want to pursue carrier in engineering than it can be a considerable decision.
But I would suggest you to go on the straight path.
Do your 12th , give entrance exams and get a good engineering college.
Since there are less seats for direct second year admission.
I would suggest you not to take admission in polytechnic right now.
