Yes,  they do.  According to the new regulations,  at least you need 75% in +2 and also some engineering colleges give admission directly if you have more intermediate marks.

Yes sure your Maharastra board percentage will be calculated as 12th and you have mention it eberywhere you will apply.Either it is further studies of anything else.

In which Engineering College do you want to take admission? because the boards percentage always matters in taking the admission in any Engineering College. generally they follow the criteria of atleast 75% marks to get the engineering seat.
Marks obtained in the 12th class in the boards examination are very important for anyone's career.
