According to the latest news that I have, the MCI  has given it's approval for the increase in seats for the EWS Quota. But, unfortunately, the increase in seats will only be in those self financed colleges which have lesser than 200 seats. There are almost 23 self financed colleges which have benefitted from this. But, since all the government colleges in Gujarat have 200 or more number of seats, there will be no increase in the number of seats in government colleges.
