Hello,

Usually, caste and domicile certificates do not have an expiry date, so a 4-year-old certificate is often accepted.

However, some scholarship authorities may ask for a recent one. It is better to check the specific rules of the scholarship you are applying for.

Hope it helps !

Hello!

So for most scholarships especially the scholarships offered by government your caste and domicile certificates should be valid and up to date.

In some  states it does not expire and they are legally acceptable but there is a chance that the authority may ask for fresh caste certificate and domicile certificate So it's safer to get them renewed from the issuing authority to avoid any rejection or problem. You can apply for renewal online.
