Closing ranks depends on various factors, some of them are number of students applying for the college, reservation seats, home state seats etc. Therefore, usually closing ranks for a college do not change drastically and they remain almost in the range of previous years. Therefore, it cannot be predicted that the closing ranks will increase or decrease.
