YES, ONGC recruits through GATE score also.

ONGC Recruitment through GATE 2020 - Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has released a notification for ONGC recruitment through GATE 2020.

Candidates who will qualify for the GATE 2020 are only be eligible for  applying  the ONGC recruitment through GATE 2020 and will be shortlisted based on  GATE scores. As a part of the application procedure of ONGC recruitment, candidates are informed to pay an application fee and  should upload their photograph and signature in the requested format and size. Shortlisted candidates based on their GATE Score are called for a written test.

Candidates who will qualify in the written test round , will be having a personal interview after that they will get an appointment letter .
