No, the percentage requirement in PCB in class 12th is not going to be increased this year to be eligible for neet examination .

Though official information brochure of neet 2021 hasn't been released yet but the percentage requirement to be eligible for neet has always remained the same and will be the same this year as well i. e

To be eligible neet 2021 you must be either appearing for 12th board examination 2021 or should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-

• at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  Begin a career in Medical and Allied Sciences. Admissions Open for

  Apply to Emversity Allied Health Sciences programs

  Apply Now

  Recommended

• at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to st/Obc/ Sc

• at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
