In every medical exam some unrelated or you can say hard questions are asked but your main focus should be securing good ranks and fir that course textbooks are more than enough. If you are very confident about completing your course then you can go for controversial questions.
15-20 questions are asked which is tough to answer but that becomes tough for all so you should understand that you dnt make any mistake in easy questions.Because if you are making silly mistakes in easy ques then that will deteriorate your rank.
Solve previous 5vyears questions and have command on theory that would be enough.
