Here we are getting from your question that a candidate with 50percenntile able to fetch seat in NIT.

We cannot say anything about it now, NTA will release category cutoff after April Jee main. After that we able to specify.
As per our expert 85 percentile is require by candidate to clear Jee main for general candidate and OBC candidate have 6-7 percentile relaxation.
