Yes you got chance. Also, don't go to lower ones colleges especially nit Mizoram manipur. Probability of placements are very low. Going there would be a waste.

Your son will definitely get seat in good college through josaa counselling sir. Don't worry...and tell your son to attend all 7 rounds of counselling because he could get some more better choices in the last round
