Helo,

You question seems incomplete.

Assuming that you meant to ask, write a letter to your friend inviting him to spend new year with you, I have given an example below. Since you are writing to your friend, it can be an informal letter:

Hi (friend_name),

How are you and your family doing? I am doing great here. It has been long since we met last and alot has happened since then. I was hoping you could come over to my place to celebrate the new year with me and my family. We could also go to the park after dinner and watch the fireworks at midnight. Will make your favourite fish curry. Do come with your family. I still stay at the same place, (write your apartment name and street name). See you on 31st.

Your buddy,

(write your name)

Good luck
