It is a process which removes carbon dioxide from parts of the earth and then back to earth.The carbon cycle is a mechanism in which carbon moves from the atmosphere to organisms and the Earth, and then back to the atmosphere. Plants take carbon dioxide out of the air and use it to produce food.  The food is then consumed by animals and then released to air as CO2.
