Hey!

Disabilities in a person irrespective of any gender is itself a discrimination from the society. But many people try to overcome such distinction. However, it must also be noted that gender also affects disability. Means, if a woman is having any disability then she has to go through more than that of any man with disability. Earlier, woman with disability kept out of both - sight and society. But as now the society is changing towards equality, some of the earlier rituals are removed. However, by 2011 world report on disabilities indicates that female prevalace disability rate 7% more than that of male. Also, girls with disabilities experience more  gender-based violence, sexual abuse, neglect, maltreatment and exploitation than women and girls without disabilities.

Hope I answered your query.

Thankyou.
