NDA is a national level exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) . The eligibility criteria is must passed from 12 th with maths and chemistry and born between 2003 and 2006. There are two paper each of two hours and 30 minutes. The paper is MCQ based. It consist of 120 maths questions also of 300 marks and 150 question of GAT of 600 marks.
You should prefer this if you want to go in navy, army or air force or any defence related field.

NDA/ NA is an entrance examination held by Union public service commission for entry into the Indian armed forces Air forces and navy. It is one of the most prestigious and high paying domains of the forces as officers who admitted through this mode are highly qualified and trained. Also one other advantage of NDA is that anyone who has completed their intermediate studies can apply for the examination but it is important to have physics and mathematics for Air forces and Navy. NDA stands for National defence academy and Naval Academy Examination. It is commonly known as NDA exam or UPSC NDA exam.
Main objective of NDA is to recruit eligible candidates as officers of defence services and security of country.
NDA exam is conducted twice in a year by UPSC In April and September.
It is direct way to join Indian army after passing 12th standard that's why it is preferred.
