Hey

If you ask us, any sector is good for your career if you are passionate about that field. So, if publishing excites you go for it. Publishing is basically delivering the written words without being a writer. You work with the authors, get the book done right and distribute it to the readers. Within publishing, there are many jobs, you have book editors, copy editors, production assistants. So go as per your interest. There is no such exact course in publishing, you need to have a degree in either in English (hns) orJournalismm. But you must have knowledge of Journalism and ethics. The basic eligibility for a specialised course asks for a graduation degree in any of the disciplines. This specialised Journalism course is offered by

IIMC, Jamia Millia Islamia, Asian College of Journalism, XIC
