MIT University, Shillong Cut-off - Previous Years Trends with Opening & Closing Rank for all Courses

Students looking to get admission into university must clear the entrance exam and secure a score of at least 90%. Those who don't clear the exam and fail to meet the criteria aren’t eligible. The cutoff percentage is set by the university and differs from every institution to ensure the best candidates get entrance. This is also based on the seat availability. Students can check the previous year cut off online and prepare accordingly by practising mock tests, tuition, and online coaching. Applicants who score cutoff marks will be called for counselling through which they can get admission.

There are two types of cutoff, rank-based and mark-based. For the rank-based cutoff system, students with a rank above a specified rank can attend the institution. In a mark-based cutoff system, students who secure marks above a particular mark can attend the university mark-based system that focuses more on learning.
