The standout feature of MIT Shillong is its location. Tucked into the lush, green hills on the outskirts of Shillong, the natural environment offers a peaceful and stunning backdrop for student life. College is also amazing.

Students consistently praise the professors for being highly approachable, empathetic, and willing to act as real-world mentors. They are well-qualified, though the teaching styles vary some senior professors lean toward more traditional methods, while younger faculty push for interactive, case-study-driven discussions.

The university manages a very decent placement rate (often hovering around 75% to 85% for core branches like MBA and B.Tech CSE). Mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, and Accenture make regular appearances, alongside regional banks and retail firms.

I is good but kind off sloppy and has different class room and gives a weird vive and is very cozy and doesn't have good washroom and also no hygiene in the food canteen and not good taste of food other than that all right

Academics are good but it is the teachers are very old and gives vibe of a old age home.the teachers although are good and helpfull and motivating they help in academics and also they helping in personal problem

Placement is good and this year the college is making different tnp related programs to make student industry ready and help them to crack there dream job the student and the college are taking equal effort to placement

College infrastructure is good nice classroom but the lighting in each floor is not proper so steps look dark some times students may fall they are in that condition other than this library is specious canteen and all the facilities are good .

I’m doing mba here , the quality teaching is not meet my expectations, still I don’t consider the teaching is bad here , for this fees value i guess they’re doing good job , staffs are friendly and easy to learn the stuffs.

From the placements point of view there are good points to be noted. Companies like Oracle, TCS, Infosys and Cognizant come regularly. Google, Microsoft also hire. Last year, 27 lakhs was the highest on campus placement.

The college is very good. Its infrastructure stands as one of the most appealing thing to everyone. It has hostels for boys and girls both. It has a capacity of nearly 25000 students to be accommodated inside the hostels. It is a big university with vibrant colors and structures.

The studies in this college are great and the teaching techniques are grood mainly the practical teaching is found in the college. The faculties here are very friendly and helpful in building the career of the students.

Placements quality at our college is also good. Almost 80% of the students get placement here. Teachers and facilities support during placement. 18 lpa is highest package and 6lpa is the average package.

The college has great infrastructure and they do keep advancing there technology which keeps the college more updated This college looks very rich in infrastructure as they have huge libraries and labs.

The teachers of this college are very understanding which makes us more comfortable while studying. The hold PhD image which helps us to be more accurate about our studying method Even our senior teachers do helps us which makes us more confident of ourselves.

We have special classes for the placement as we have been taught how and what type of things are been asked The teachers are very professional and cooperative while educating us and the placement is done under 7 lakhs to 15 lakhs

These is the best university I have found it . It took admission by fear as it was suggested by my cousin but later on the month ended I was having lots of good friends that make my more comfortable to study here .

Teachers are really very good and supportive in nature . They always tell us that if anyone having any issues regarding any kind of subject related topics questions than come to me directly and ask it to clear the doubt.

They are giving top level placement every year no one can find these kind of colleges at this price rate if someone thinks that so . This University is the best as from before only they are giving every year very nice placement.
